An Entire Overtime Football Game in 28 minutes...

I needed a break from politics so for the past few days I've been playing with something a little different...football. I've wondered for years how long it would take to watch an entire football game without all of the breaks between plays, waiting for referees to figure out penalties, time-outs, TV time-outs, official reviews, injuries, commercials, etc. In fact, I can no longer tolerate watching a live football game since I've had a DVR. On my DVR I can watch an entire football game in about 40-minutes. There is almost always a 30-second break between plays (unless one of the teams is running a "hurry-up offense", then there is about a 20-second break) and each play lasts for approximately 6 or 8 seconds. When a flag is thrown, there is almost always a 45 or 60-second delay. And, I'm sure you know how many commercials are shown during an average game. They are absolutely unbearable.

I do have some idea of what it's like to play football (more than many girls, I suppose). I've had the wind knocked out of me several times when, as a kid, I'd play backyard football with my brother and his friends - I think they thought it was funny to watch me struggling to breathe. The fact that I'm a girl didn't bother them. They still knocked the crap out of me...and, they enjoyed it. If I didn't "enjoy" it, I didn't have to play. I wanted to play, therefore, I'd usually play until I wound up getting hurt and only stopped after I wound up bawling from getting hit too hard too many times (even though I wore a complete JCPenny's football uniform that belonged to my brother - helmet, shoulder pads, pants with all the pads). Poor baby. The guys had accomplished their mission - they no longer had to play football "with a girl". That still didn't stop me from joining their next game. :)

Being a female that has never played organized football, I've also wondered why football players seem to get so worn out playing football. They go like hell for about 6 or 8 seconds, get a 30-35-second break between plays and go like hell again for about 6 or 8 seconds...sometimes only 3 times in a row...and, sometimes for about 10 or 12 plays in a row. Big whoop. Why do they get so tired? I didn't find the answer to that question in the making of the video below, but I did find out how long it takes to play a whole game.

OK, so to find out how long it really takes to play/watch an entire football game, I decided to look on YouTube to see if there were any full-length football games that I could download and edit. Sure enough, there are TONS of them on YouTube. But, I didn't want to edit just any game. I wanted to edit a game that I would enjoy watching. I tried to find a full-length Husker championship game that was of decent quality (that would remain decent quality after I downloaded and converted the video for use in Movie Maker) but I couldn't find any.

What I did find was the next best thing for a Husker fan...a game in which a relative unknown, underdog, "Cinderella team" beats Oklahoma...in overtime...in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. What a sweet game it was. I actually remember watching this game between Boise St. and Oklahoma live. And, I always will.

I edited the entire game (which took me about 2-3 hours), included only the plays, the referee announcing penalties, the announcement of time-outs, and I think I included 3 replays. The full-length game, as downloaded from YouTube (which didn't include any commercials) was almost exactly 3 hours long. If watched in its entirety as it aired it would have probably taken about 4 hours to watch this whole game. After editing, each quarter lasts between 5-7 minutes. The first 4 quarters last 26 minutes. The entire edited game including the OVERTIME lasts 28 minutes. The entire length of my video below is 31:34 because I included 3 minutes and 24-seconds of post-game stuff at the end of the game. (As a Husker fan I couldn't justify cutting-out the post-game celebration.) teehee

So, it really only takes 26 minutes to actually WATCH an entire football game. And you sit there in front of your TV for 3 or 4 hours watching this stuff. If you don't have one, get a DVR.

Here it is, it all of its edited glory.

Obama Lied About His Libya Statement AGAIN During The Debate

So, did he or didn't he? Did President Obama refer to the terrorist attacks in Libya AS an "act of terror" or not? Sort of. As is almost always the case with everything that comes out of President Obama's mouth, once again SEMANTICS is at play. (If you missed the discussion about Libya from last night's debate, the entire exchange is posted in a video at the end of this post.)

During the exchange between Governor Romney and President Obama, Romney stated that Obama did NOT refer to the attacks as "terrorism" for 14 days. Obama told Romney to "check the transcript" of his initial remarks about the attacks. I did. (You can click on this link to see it in its entirety for yourself on the White House website.)

I'm going to highlight (in bold) a few words from the transcript of Obama's September 12th statement:

What DID Obama say in his statement to the country on September 12th? He said:

Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi.

-SNIP-

The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack.

-SNIP-

And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.

-SNIP-

And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.

-SNIP-

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.

OK. So he DID say the words "acts of terror" and he DID refer to this as an "attack".

Where the problem lies for Obama is in the fact that he was saying all of these things IN THE CONTEXT that this was a "protest" carried out by people who were reacting to that stupid YouTube video. Which, we all know now, was a LIE.

Below is the PROOF that what I just said about "context" is true.

In paragraph #4 out of the 13-paragraph transcript, Obama said the following:
Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.

Obama was saying that the PROTESTERS OF THE VIDEO were responsible for these "acts of terror". There is no other possible explanation for his inclusion of his comments about "faith" in his initial statement. If he was simply calling this an act of terrorism, he wouldn't have had any NEED to bring up "religious beliefs" of ANYONE involved. Because we all know he sure as hell isn't going to utter the words "Islamic extremists" (also known as "terrorists").

Obama LIED in the debate. The fact that he used the words "act of terror" in his statement does not absolve him of the fact that he was NOT calling this an act of terrorism. He was referring to the protesters, and the protesters ONLY, in reference to "acts of terror". He was NOT referring to al Qaeda or any other terrorist group. He was NOT admitting that this was "simply" a terrorist attack. He was saying that this "act of terror" was a RESULT of the protests over the video. These are two very different and extremely important things to note. Obama lied about Libya tonight...again.

Furthermore, in another statement posted on the website for the Libyan Embassy dated September 12th, Obama stated the following:

I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
-SNIP-
While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.

AGAIN, he makes reference TO THE VIDEO by bringing up "religious beliefs".

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said basically the same thing on September 11th:
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation.
Read Sec. Clinton's full statement HERE.

Don't let them lie to you.

One thing to note in the video below, notice how QUICKLY Obama agrees to move on from the subject of Libya. Throughout the rest of the debate he couldn't say ENOUGH about every other topic and kept interrupting Romney and Candy Crowley (the moderator) so that he could have his say...except on this subject.

United States Conducting Tests On Human Subjects (EPA)

The United States of America, via the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has been conducting experiments on human subjects.

As an American, I find this to be the most egregious behavior yet to come out of the Obama administration.

(I'm too angry right now to say more now. I may or may not post more of my thoughts here or on my YouTube channel later.)

Quoted from American Thinker (follow the links / EMPHASIS MINE):

An Eco-Fascist Gassing Experiment with Diesel Fumes at the EPA
By Mark Musser

It has been recently revealed that the EPA has far surpassed the dark humor of blowing up kids and people on film that global warming scare-mongers promoted a few years back. In real life, the EPA has been conducting human experiments on people by piping diesel fumes from a running truck mixed with air into their lungs at a North Carolina university. The agency has ginned up yet another green crusade -- the lethal dangers of diesel fumes. They even had a gas chamber set up to accommodate the environmental research project that shockingly recalls the death camps in Poland.

Not surprisingly, the EPA is now in the process of being sued for conducting dangerous experiments on human guinea pigs. The courts will decide whether or not serious laws and practices were violated, including the international Nuremberg Code that was set up after sixteen Nazi doctors were executed for medical terrorism. After the barbaric fallout of Nazi Germany, where many people were treated like experimental animals, the Nuremberg Code was designed to be an international governing set of principles to regulate the practice of human experimentation. The whiff of the Jewish holocaust is therefore unmistakable.

----SNIP----

While no one died in the EPA's gas chambers, the agency is increasingly acting like proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. Under the guise of acting on behalf of everyone's health, the EPA has crossed a pathological line where people have been potentially treated like experimental animals under questionable methods that conjure up the horrors of the holocaust. More telling is the EPA subjected human beings to a concoction of diesel fumes that it already said was lethal. If the EPA were truly concerned about human health, they would not have performed such experiments on more than forty people in the first place.

PLEASE, read the rest of this article and follow all the links it provides as background information. Read the full article HERE. Please share this story!

You can also find more information about the human experiments conducted in your name at this link from FrontPageMag.com: The EPA’s Disturbing Human Experiments

The tree of disgust, corruption, cover-up, theft, and deception of the American people carried out by the Obama administration has yet to be tapped, however, I never imagined something as disgusting as this. What's next from them? People have been killed (Fast & Furious) and people have died (Libya) as a DIRECT result of the actions of the Obama administration, but the people in these experiments have to live with the effects of these tests for the remainder of their days. Personally, I'd prefer a quick-end as opposed to a life of suffering at the hands of my very own government.

Mainstream media isn't covering this story. Nor will they. If you don't share this post (or one of the links from American Thinker OR FrontPageMag) this story is dead after you read it. It is up to YOU to spread this story. If you don't spread this information, don't complain to me if this is the last you hear of it. I did my part.

MUST-SEE VIDEO: Pamela Geller's Appeal to the MTA Board in NYC

Posted by Pamela Geller on her blog AtlasShruggs:

Last week I wrote about the MTA hearing I attended on whether they were going to change their policy to refuse all political ads (background here). It was, essentially a rabble rousers' freak show. The people who attended were for the most part OWS thugs, anarchists, and Jew-haters. They spoke as one violent and hateful voice, attacking the board members, attacking the system, attacking me, attacking everything they could.
Read the rest HERE.

Pamela Geller deserves a special place in heaven for putting up with all that she does. Watch her passionate speech to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). This meeting took place on September 27th.
