Ann Coulter Suggests Sarah Palin is Part of GOP "Establishment"

Seriously, Ann Coulter? How much lower can you go? First you endorse Mitt Romney for president, the most "establishment" of all possible "establishment" candidates and now, this?

Quote from Ann's latest column:
Meanwhile, many of the pillars of the conservative establishment also implacably oppose Romney. Fox News is neutral, but its second-highest-rated host, Sean Hannity, is anti-Romney -- though endorsing no one -- as is prominent Fox News contributor Sarah Palin -- who has also offered herself up as a possible presidential nominee at a contested convention. (Wouldn't a former candidate for vice president on a major party's ticket be part of the Establishment?)

The "establishment" doesn't like Governor Palin because she is NOT a part of them. Never has been. Never will be. Someone like Governor Romney, on the other hand, who has changed nearly every policy-position he's ever held, is someone who many of us see as the perfect "establishment" candidate, willing to play whatever ball is handed to him at whatever point in whatever election cycle he's in. If that isn't the epitome of the perfect "establishment" candidate, I don't know what is.

The "establishment" wouldn't DARE hand-over one of their balls to Governor Palin because they know they'd never get it back. (Double entendre intended.)

Support for Mitt never has been and never will be above 40% in the primaries...methinks Ann's panicking at the prospect of an entrance by Governor Palin into the scenario at a brokered convention. Now she's stooping to calling Governor Palin a part of the "establishment." As if.

Ann, just because your world has been turned upside-down doesn't mean you have to continually screw with ours. I know, I know. You need attention...

Grammy's Open With Prayer For Whitney Houston

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards held on Sunday opened with a prayer for Whitney Houston following her sudden death on Saturday afternoon. Whitney Houston was reportedly found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton hotel room.

Houston had been planning to attend music industry titan Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy's party Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton.

Given all of the attacks on prayer by "the left" in America, namely by the "Hollywood crowd," I was surprised, yet pleased to see this event open with a prayer for Whitney. There certainly were a lot of heads bowed in prayer. It was good to see a pro-prayer message coming from the "Hollywood crowd" for a change.

The tribute to Whitney Houston continued later in the show when Jennifer Hudson sang a shortened version of "I Will Always Love You" which can be heard below.
